I met Anina at the Nokia World 2007 event in Amsterdam a few months ago, and she’s definitely a cool woman, as much into fashion as she is into technology. She’s also a Forum Nokia Champion and Founder of 360Fashion Network. That’s why I think it’s pretty stinkin cool that she was able to have her own Flash-based mobile game created, allowing you to play dress up on your mobile phone.
IntoMobile alerted me to Anina Dress Up, which you can download at the odd mobi.aninadressup.com mobile-friendly URL, and allows you to play a few different types of games. The first is a memory game where you are shown an outfit and then have to recreate it in less than 60 seconds. The other mode is freestyle, where you can create your own outfits or download new ones to Anina’s ‘closet’.
I installed the game on Christina’s Nokia N81 8GB, and let her play for a bit. Here’s her thoughts:
Anina Dress Up fun game, but it is hard to follow as the girl changes outfits so fast and you are suppose to memorize her outfit. Hard to do when she scrolls through like 20 outfits before stopping on one for just a few seconds. Better then most games but I wouldn’t pay for it. Since it’s free, heck yeah! Wouldn’t keep me entertained very long though.
I’m completely obsessed with this, now, and am going to actively try to figure out how I can get a cool Symbian-Guru Flash-based game for you guys. What types of gameplay would you like to see? I’m thinking Guru Paintball would be fun, or maybe Guru Racing. What say you?
