JoikuSpot Updated With Security
JoikuSpot, which allows you to use your S60v3 handset’s 3G data connection and create an ad-hoc WiFi hotspot, has been updated to v1.2, offering the ability to setup WEP security. While not the most bulletproof security technology, WEP will rebuff most people looking to leak off your little hotspot at the airport or elsewhere. PseudoFinn over at NokiaUsers.net gave me a tip that he uses, just put the word ‘virus’ in the SSID broadcast name, and most people will steer clear.
Other new features include a REALLY handy battery threshold setting, allowing you to shut JoikuSpot down when your battery gets down to a certain level, to prevent draining it completely.
JoikuSpot 1.2 is compatible with all S60v3 handsets, but requires a data connection and WiFi, leaving handsets such as the N73 out in the cold. You can snag the download here.

too bad its not free anymore, only 60day trial
I wondered for a second, because they said it was going to be free. I checked it up and found this:
“Take the 90 day trial option. It will connect to internet and confirm it.
The program is FREE, but we want to make sure betas expire some day..
A new version will be introduced before 90 days has passed.”

As you see it’s still free, they just don’t want the beta versions to last forever. And BTW, it’s not 60, but 90 days.
ok thx for correcting that:
