Leaked Shot Of The N35 Nseries QWERTY

Leaked Shot Of The N35 Nseries QWERTY

Guys this is HOT, and you’ll see it first here on Symbian-Guru. Earlier this year, Zach at Symbian In Motion let us in on the secret that an Nseries handset was coming with a QWERTY keyboard, something we’ve all been wishing for. I present you the first image of that handset, the Nokia N35.

I don’t have the full spec sheet just yet, but I can confirm a few details. It’s got a 2.6″ QVGA display and runs S60v3 Feature Pack 2. The candybar handset slides from the side to reveal a landscape QWERTY keyboard, reminiscent of several recent Windows Mobile handsets. There’s a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video calling and an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, Carl Zeiss optics, and Xenon flash on the back, for an unrivaled imaging performance.

Like the Nokia N96, this bad boy packs 16GB of internal memory and comes with an additional 8GB microSD card in the sales package. Finally we also get USB charging through the microUSB port in the bottom, and a 3.5mm audio port, properly placed at the top of the device. GPS and WiFi are also included, and you can expect this puppy to FINALLY be the tri-band HSDPA (850/1900/2100MHz) device we’ve all been waiting for.

I’ve got a full gallery of images, which you can check out here.

*UPDATE* The N35 is *not* real. Happy April Fools’ Day! Hope we didn’t get anyone too excited. The original handset is the HTC Atmos, and I photoshopped the screen and Nseries keys. Hopefully Nokia will create this device someday, but as of right now, this handset is my own personal creation.

  3. hehe didn’t get me :P

  4. Standard rotation for a S60 device is counter clock wise ;) And for a brand new device it must have the slowest refreshing graphics processor I’ve ever seen, because it’s still showing a screen from November 2007!

  5. oh march 31… so sad sad sad
you had to jump the gun didn’t you

  6. haha, @ZR I might have jumped the gun a LITTLE bit, but it’s already April Fools’ in other parts of the world, and I didn’t want them to feel left out. ;)

  7. Nice try! There is NO WAY Nokia will combine N series with E series.

  8. Reall nice one. *Almost had me too inspite of the fact that I had put up a April fool post of my own! ;)

  10. too bad this looks EXACTLY like the HTC S710 … nice try ;)

  11. Got me there. BAD. I feel like killing someone, and that would be you, Guru!

Nice one. Despite all the jokes in the air, I didn’t for a second suspect this. Brilliant.

One thing that SHOULD have given it away was the index number. Why would they name such a thing merely N35? When everyone knows N7x represents ‘entry level’, N8x, mid-range (though N82 is midrange in price only), and so forth.

But thats a lot of couldashoudawoulda. Props.

  12. You just reached too far, haha. I knew you were lying because of the tri-band 3G and the 8MP (8!!)camera -

  13. APRIL FOOLS! can anyone say photoshop! haven’t even read the artical yet.

  14. Didn’t get me either…

  15. LMAO I totally forgot about this, you came up with this joke like a month ago! Well executed!

    Very nice!
