I think the N96 is a much slicker device if not just for the better keypad layout and the headphone jack being relocated. It looks like a more solid build as well (less plastic feel maybe). Still very disappointed in no xenon flash though. That would have been the icing on the cake with the N96. I’ll consider the N96 if they come out with a NA version soon after launch even though I am still happy as can be with the N95-4.

I am a N95-2 owner and the N96 has good specs but I prefer the more manly brick look of the N95 over the N96. Xenon flash is upsetting as they incorporated that into the N82 and loss of all black seems to make it look kind of tacky imo ;/.
Happy with my device at the moment however, just waiting for my operator branded version of v20.

I am extremely disappointed with the battery size and lack of 3D acceleration… wtf! Especially with the game buttons they include… they are taking a step backwards for the platform.

I actually like the dual LED idea, I think it will perform much better than you expect, and with one of the leds on for movie mode… really makes movie mode awesome for low light situations.

deadlock: I do like the LED for movie mode, but why couldn’t they give us a LED for movie mode and a xenon flash for photos. I too do not understand why they decreased the battery size from the N95-4. Apparently from what early reviewers are saying though is they are getting as good of performance out of the N96 with the smaller battery as the N95-2 and 4 are getting out of the bigger battery.

The numeric buttons on the N96 look very flat. Are you going to be able to differentiate between them by touch? I.E. can you feel which buttons to press without looking at them?

N96 has better storage and looks when taken a look into the front camera as well. But N95 8GB rocks with the hardy looks.

N96 is less bulky than N96.. however the ordinary N95 lacks power and has some problems with losing power when not with complete range…or network.. but the N95 8GB seems to tackle that problem… N96 with best storage is ultimately better for movies for movie freaks but in application point of view yet to be unleashed.

Don no about the GPS capability as N95 standard had some problems.
