Platysoft Offers Scheherazade Audiobook Player For S60v3
Another great find from checking out the S60 Blogs comment feed is from Platysoft, and unknown Australian developer. Scheherazade is an audiobook listening application designed for S60v3, and it’s really simple to use. The files don’t need to be converted, you just stick them a folder on your device’s memory called ‘Audiobooks’. From there, the application will find and list all of your books, and it even supports chapters and that sort of thing.
If you’ve got multiple books in your folder, Scheherazade will remember your location for each individual file, allowing you to easily listen to different books at the same time without losing your place. You can fast forward/rewind (though I don’t think it supports the multimedia buttons on some Nseries handsets) and there is a file progress bar at the top, so you can visualize how far along you are.
Scheherazade for S60 is a free application, though it does require Python for S60.
