Release Dates For The New Nseries?
Meraj Chhaya from Phone Report has just disclosed the release dates of the new Nokia Nseries, including the N82 Black, the N78 as well as the flagship N96. Following a conversation with a Nokia insider, Meraj was able to sort of kind of confirm a release date for May the 7th. This date comes a little bit late for the N82 Black which we were expecting earlier, a little bit on par for the N78 which is supposed to be available during Q2, and a little bit early for the N96 which was announced for Q3.
And now, time to reveal the date: 7th May 2008! Many retailers had published this date, but now we can be sure that we will see these phones shortly after 7th May. When I say launch, I don’t mean official retail date, as that’s the date that most retailers will start selling, although some might not have stocks. The phones have been officially announced, but not released.
Now this remains a rumor, and we have already seen unboxing pictures of the N82 black all over the net, so I guess that this device will be available even before the presumed date. But when it comes to the N78 and the N96, we will put this May 7 date in our calendar in the “rumored” category, although we truly hope it’s authentic.
