As you know, I’ve joined up with the S60 marketing team as the pointman for the S60 Ambassadors based in North and South America. We’re currently rocking a campaign about Share on Ovi, which I’ve been using more and more. One of the ideas we had to get some cool, fun usage out of Share on Ovi is a pic of the week. Each week, we’ve got a different theme and corresponding tag. You can find out the latest theme over at the Consumed by S60 blog, this week is ‘sneaker4‘, and obviously, we’re looking for fun pictures of sneakers. They can be yours, someone else’s, whoevers. Just a pic of shoes, is all.

Last week was ‘place3‘, and you can check out the entrants here. Definitely some cool pics.

Another big one is Pangea Day, which is coming up on May 10th (cinco days after Cinco de Mayo, incidentally). Pangea Day is an event that seeks to connect people all over the globe using stories, videos, pictures, and whatever else. You can check out the official site here, but Nokia’s contribution is offering to host the videos and pictures on Share on Ovi.

Entries should be uploaded to the pangeaday.film channel and tagged with one of the themes:

1. An act of kindness
2. The best part of today
3. The next thing that makes you smile
4. The next person to inspire you

Entries will be judged, and the top choices aired at the Los Angeles Pangea Day event.

Also, Share on Ovi was down recently, and it looks as though they’re sneakily adding new features here and there, such as full EXIF data, which includes location information.
