Video Demo Of Mirage Money & MosKillTo
Ever since the accelerometer on the N95 (and N82) has been made available to developers, many applications have been released to make good use of it. Examples include Samir’s RotateMe, NokMote, ShutUp, and Tong Ren’s FlipSilent and ShakeSMS, and Keynetik’s Rock and Scroll, and many others. The use of the accelerometer in games has been limited until a few days ago, when 2 games surfaced for S60 3rd Edition.
The first game is Mirage Money, a game based on a new API called Mirage-X and developed by Fadi Chehimi, a student of Forum Nokia developer Paul Coulton. The game offers a Real Mirage mode where the background of the game is the real scene captured by your device’s camera, and a Virtual Mirage mode where you float around a 3D world.
The second game is MosKillTo, developed by Sittiphol Phanvilai, maker of the award-winning Mobitubia. The game which is a trial mode now offers a great view of what first-person shooter games might become in the future. Ewan from AllAboutSymbian has a short review of the game and an explanation of the potential behind it.
Now here is a video demonstration of both games running on an N95. The video is shot with the trial N93i that I have from WomWorld.

That’s a stunning proof of concept! Mirage Money looks especially interesting. Thanks for the video.
