Video Demo Of N78 FM Transmitter

Greg from SymbianFrance.com pinged me on IM this morning to let me know that he’s put up a video demonstration of the Nokia N78’s FM Transmitter. The N78 was announced earlier this year, and in my opinion, while I may not be wild about the looks, it’s going to be possibly the hottest Nseries handset this year, carrying things through Christmas. It’s priced right, has great features, and will be available with US 3G for AT&T’s network.

Anyways, one of the cool features on the Nokia N78 is the FM Transmitter built-in, which allows you to broadcast your music to an FM radio station, allowing wireless connection with your car stereo or alarm clock. The technology isn’t the greatest quality, but it’s free, easy, and compatible with nearly any stereo on the planet, so it was a great idea to include it in the handset.

Here’s the video, and Greg informed me that he’ll have a full review up in a few days, as well.

  4. I think this option won’t be available in every market. Some countries have laws that not allow for radio transmitting without a license. And I hope N96 got transmitter also, looks very cool :D

  5. […] SymbianFrance.com is on a roll lately! First we had the video demo of the N78’s FM transmitter this morning, and then I see that they’ve found that Nokia Spain is boasting an unannounced […]
