This week’s episode starts out with a quick peek at the Plantronics 370 Bluetooth headset. This headset is ruggedized, which gives it a bit more resistance to dust and water. It’s not fully waterproof, nor could you bury it in dirt, but it will resist the elements moreso than a typical headset. For my full review, I will be testing the Plantronics 370 in the sprinkler, to see how it handles direct water.I also wanted to show you a bit of
SymbianGuru’s AfterCall application, which I’ve been using on my Nokia N82 recently. I’m experimenting with overlaying the screenshot on the video, to provide a little better look. Let me know what you think of this, if you would. I also take a brief look at
Slick IM, from LonelyCatGames. I’ve been using this multi-IM client for while now and really like it.
Also, I’d like to open up to accept some viewer mail, so please feel free to send in your questions via email or using the contact form linked above. I’ll do my best to answer a few in each episode, or cover something that you would like to see talked about.
I also, as you might have seen, am in desperate need of a new intro video, so….I’m asking for viewer submissions for that, as well. Upload your ~30 second video of driving down a road (or running, or biking, or whatever, so long as you’re moving down a road) to Share on Ovi and tag it with ’symbianguru’, or just email me the original video file.
Thanks, and see you next week when Driving With The Guru is on location in Boston, MA!

Thanks for this nice episode.
I’ve tried the SymbianGuru Aftercall and I have to admit that I like it very much.
Looking forward to the review Plantronics 370 and thanks for pointing out that it can be used on both sides of the ear.
