The .Net Framework provides funcions for easier programming. While .Net1 and .Net2 are available for all Windows systems down to Win2000, the .Net3 Framework is only available down to XP Service Pack 2.

Has the fact they are developing .Net applications (I have no idea what that actually means) something to do with seamless DRM management, and some of the other features they want to build in? I.e. I doubt they are doing it for no reason whatsoever. And Ricky, don’t shout please.. ;) In particular since this is an early beta after all. :)

yeah, it runs nicely on Vista too.
