Whatleydude Takes Glastonbury Mobile
One of the cool things about being obsessed with mobile stuff is trying to see just what you can acheive solely using your cell phone. You know me, I’ve covered Nokia World live using just an N81 8GB, Truphone, and Spinvox, and have gone weeks without touching a computer or having access through anything other than my cell phone. However, it’s someone else’s turn now, and that’s Whatleydude, who also writes at SMStextnews.com, and is THE blogger for Spinvox.
Whatleydude is headed off to Glastonbury, which, if you don’t know (as I didn’t), is a big festival held in the U.K. He’s setup Glastonblog.co.uk, for those who want to follow as close as possible, but he’s also set off to cover this even with an army of various mobile tools.
Here’s the recap on SMStextnews, listing out all the toys he’s got with him. The two that interest me the most are the Free Loader Solar Charger and the GoHello wind-up charger. Sounds like James won’t be short on power, which is always a big concern.
As for phones, he’s rocking the N95×2, with spare batteries, but I can attest that those won’t last him long. Rest assured I’ll twist his arm into chatting with us about the experience, and any suggestions he might have for anyone looking to do something similar in the future.

Totally freak
For me it’s difficult to survive without computer at school, where I have to use 3G/3,5G connection
