AutoSisInstaller Makes Loading Apps Easy
One of my favorite things about S60 is the sheer number of useful applications available to extend the functionality of my handset. I can install any number of applications to allow my cell phone to perform nearly any function that I’d like. One of the big pains, then, is installing all of these applications on my phone after a firmware update or when I get a new phone. Each application has any number of popup notifications/questions that makes installing all my apps take forever.
Thanks to TongRen at ThinkChange.cn, that’s all behind us. AutoSisInstaller is a free (kinda) application that automates the whole installation process for any number of applications. Simply drop them all into a folder on your memory card (you’ll need to create one called ‘ThinkChange’) and then click ‘StartInstall’. It appears to install to the phone’s internal memory, and I don’t see a way to change that, which is fine by me, but older phones might have an issue with this.
The application is available unsigned for free, or for a small donation (US$5+), you can get a fully signed version emailed to you within 24 hours. I’ve already donated, and hope to get the signed version soon so that I can use it on all of my devices. I also downloaded the unsigned version, since I have a certificate for my N95-3, and took a screenshot for you.
Thanks to P@sco for the headsup on this app.

Great that there’s a new application that does this.
Thanks for the info.
I already use the updated version of InstFast from the post
“Symbian-Guru’s Ultimate Guide To Switching Devices”.
It’s called LFile and gives you the option to install the applications on the memory card
(Provided that the applications let’s you do that)
On the Screenshot it says “Put sis/jar into E:\ThinkChange\”
Does that mean it also installs Java Files automatically? That would be great.
And when you say it installs on internal memory, does that mean the “app” itself or all installations that app makes (the files you put in E:\ThinkChange\)?
Thx for replying.
@Modser
The application itself you can choose to install on either memory.
(That being MMC or Internal)
All installations the application makes is installed on the phone memory. (Regardless of support for installation in both memory).
Haven’t tried with java files yet, but you should note one thing and that is that the folder ThinkChange you just created will disappear (deleted?) after the installation is complete.
