Cruise Over To Croozeus For Python S60 Tutorials

Two Python for S60 programmers, Bogdan Galiceanu and Pankaj Nathani, have recently launched a new site aimed to help anyone develop their own application for S60 handsets, powered by Python for S60. Both guys are well known on the Forum Nokia boards, and have quite a wealth of knowledge of Python, specifically used to create apps for S60.

The new site is called Croozeus.com, and is setup to be a starting point for anyone to learn about Python and how to use it to develop applications for S60-powered handsets. Python is one of many programming languages that can be used to write an application for S60, and most believe it to be the easiest, as well. The PyS60 application was recently updated, as well, with a few new abilities built-in.

I’m looking forward to digging into the various tutorials on Croozeus.com, and if you’re interested in developing for S60, I’d highly recommend that you check the S60 Applications Wishlist for ideas, and then slither over to Croozeus.com to learn how to do it!

  1. Thanks for talking about the site, Ricky. We only launched it yesterday so we need all the “advertising” we can get ;)

    Thanks again

  2. No problem, Bogdan. I think it’s a fantastic idea, and, secretly, I’m diggin in a bit, and considering a post series on how a complete programming ‘newb’ gets along using Python to create an S60 app.

  3. @Ricky: Best of Luck with Pys60 !

And do let us know if you have any challenges with it !

Looking forward to see you at the Pys60 Talks session.
