TheGuru

TheGuru, aka Ricky Cadden, started Symbian-Guru.com in November 2006, out of his excitement for the S60 3rd Edition version of Symella. TheGuru has used Symbian devices since the Nokia 6620, and is known for his perspective as a power user. You can follow TheGuru on Twitter at @Rcadden

Hmmmppph... not to keen on having to see non-Symbian things in the Driving with the Guru.. keep that S to MB.. ;-DDD
  • @Viipottaja - Heh, indeed, but how could I speak with any authority about S60 if I hadn't truly tried and used the competition?

Just finally got to watch your show.
As always very informative and nice previews of things up ahead.

The deal between Qualcomm and Nokia seems to be a ok deal and I totally agree with you that we could see better integration of technologies into their chipsets.

When it comes to the Samsung i8510 I definitely will await a review of this one against N96.

I also see that from the specs they are running different OS versions.
I can't seem to see what the major differences are from the symbian.com website.
(I remember seeing a white paper with a model of the differences in Symbian OS versions, but can't find it at the moment)

As for the N96 I think it was running Symbian OS 9.5?
  • That's a comprehensive list of podcasts. Lots in there I haven't heard before.

Also, I produce a daily video show called the Nokia Daily News over at nseriesus.com. The videos are Nokia Podcast compatible as well. Keep up the good work, Guru!
  • @matthew - what's the feed url, I'd love to add it to the OPML file, so readers can conveniently subscribe!
  • Yo, Ricky.
