FCC Reminds Us Of Forgotten XpressMusic 5320

I’ll confess, I’d completely forgotten about the Nokia XpressMusic 5320. Announced in April at a music event, the XpressMusic 5320 is a candybar S60 handset, rocking a 2 megapixel camera and shameful 890mAh battery. There are dedicated music playback keys located along the left edge of the display and N-Gage gaming keys above the display. Also, the 5320 XpressMusic features a new Say-and-Play voice-controlled music player application, which you can check out here.

The XpressMusic 5320 is the first official non-Nseries device to support both the Nokia Music Store and N-Gage. Thanks to the XpressMusic moniker, we know that this cell phone carries a standard 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers. Flash Lite 3 is also on board this S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 device.

Measuring a slender 15mm (.6″), the 5320 XpressMusic packs quite a punch. The handset will be available in black color scheme, with red or blue trim. 85MB of free RAM makes multitasking a non-issue, and a microSD card slot supports microSDHC cards such as the 8GB, and soon to come 16GB+ sizes.

The FCC has slipped out the US 3G version, which was previously labeled as coming for Latin America only.
