The Nokia 6220 Classic, which was announced at the 2008 Mobile World Congress and labeled by me as the ‘Un-Nseries’d N82‘ has landed over at DailyMobile.se, and we’ve got a massive gallery of great shots.
The Nokia 6220 Classic is a candybar handset that rocks a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Carl Zeiss optics, and Xenon flash, though it’s not an Nseries handset. The handset will be available in either black or purply-pink color schemes. A 2.5mm audio port is disappointing, though it does offer TV-Out support for easy photo sharing on a compatible television, with the included cable.
The Nokia 6220 Classic features S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2, quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band WCDMA (900/2100MHz), for European 3G networks. Built-in GPS with A-GPS support and native photo geotagging and a microSD card slot offer a ton of photo storage, as well.
The FCC has already taken a look at this little handset and given a thumbs-up, though without U.S. 3G, I’m not really anticipating seeing the 6220 Classic from either T-Mobile or AT&T in the future.
