Nokia E71 NAM available at the Chicago Flagship store

Thanks to a quick link from Eduardo at E71blog.com (cool site, btw, focused obviously on the E71), I’m excited to let you know that apparently, the Nokia E71-2 NAMin grey steel is now available in limited numbers over at the Nokia Flagship store in Chicago, down on Michigan Avenue. Pricing is reportedly $483.

The Nokia E71-2 NAM sports dual-band WCDMA (850/1900MHz) support for AT&T’s high-speed HSDPA network. I’m sure you know the rest of the feature set (if not, click here). Quantities are limited, but you can call the store at 312-670-2607 to get on the waiting list, as the store receives more stock in, they’ll go down the list.

Can anyone report if they’re offering these for walk-in customers?

  2. Exactly. How much?

  3. i got to play around with this phone as my brother in law got himself one. The funny part is that for some reason the Nokia Maps application will not start. Any reasons why? I haven’t reinstalled Maps for him yet. Thats the last option.

As for the looks, well I am tempted to trade in my N82 for this. Or maybe I’ll save up and replace it with my other Nokia (1200).

This phone is definitely a Blackberry beater in terms of looks. Business users never had it this good!

  7. Walked into the Nokia Store in Chicago, IL USA yesterday & bought the E71. This phone rocks!!! I missed the keyboard on my E61 and enjoy the functionality of my N95-3; the E71 bridges this for me.

P.S. Chicago has the highest sales tax in the USA at a rate of 10.5%. Caution if you buy here in Chicago at either location selling Nokia phones.
