Nokia N81 Firmware Updated, Adds WRT and Flash Lite 3

The Nokia N81 received a firmware update yesterday, on the 4th of July. The new update adds quite a few fun features, as well as plenty of stability improvements and whatnot. You can get the update through the Nokia Software Updater, which has an icon on the latest Nokia PC Suite (though, annoyingly, clicking on that takes you to the website to download and install NSU separately. Why isn’t it automatically included in PC Suite?)

V20.0.56 is now available, and pretties up the interface with new menu transitions. The transitions, which do not affect the speed of the UI at all, are a nice little feature, though nothing to get all in a huff about. The big news is the addition of Flash Lite 3 and support for Web RunTime, which offers a much more robust multimedia experience.

Load it up and let us know if you find anything else cool hidden in there.

    flash lite does not work.. just a blank area on you tube and elsewhere where the flash video is supposed to appear.. also no icon to click on like in other examples i have seen

    in the nsu the firmware that appears for update is the 11 0 0 45 from nov 2007. for nokia n81.

    Just to confirm, V20 is not available to me here in Finland of all places. N81 8GB, unbranded, sim free. Very odd.

    Hi there, My nokia n81 8gb camera not working.
    When i press on the camera button on the side of the phone it says (camera: feature not supported). It was working before.

    My firmware version on my N81 Device is
    V 11.0.045
    29-11-07
    RM-233
    Nokia N81 (22.01)

    Note : there is no latest update other than V 11.0.045. if any one update there mobile please let us know how did you find the update and help us to do that. thanks
