Pro Series Golf Finally Swings Onto N-Gage

Pro Series Golf Finally Swings Onto N-Gage

One of the games that I’ve been waiting for the most has been Nokia’s Pro Series Golf, for the N-Gage platform. Developed by Nokia, the game is a whopping 21MB big, so you’ll likely want to have it installed on your external memory.

As with the other Nokia-developed games such as Creatures of the Deep, the graphics in Pro Series Golf are astounding. There are 6 total courses, and you can play as 6 of the world’s top pros. Apparently there’s an online play mode, though I’ll admit, I can’t really see myself waiting around on N-Gage while 3 people around the world take their swings. I’ll have to test that mode out alot more to see how well it plays.

You can see in this screenshot that the views really are stellar, particularly for a mobile game. Nokia certainly took their time on this one, and it shows. I swiped this screenshot from Steve’s coverage at AllAboutSymbian, but you’ll want to head over to their announcement post for several more, or just refresh your Showroom and download the trial for yourself.

The full price of the game is a staggering $13.50, and I’m crossing my fingers that Nokia and N-Gage come up with a free license giveaway for this title.

In case you missed the earlier post, there’s a Pro Series Golf theme created specially for S60v3 handsets, and it includes some really nice audio alerts and ringtones, as well.

Now I just need a web-based desktop version of Pro Series Golf so I can build my character, or Tiger Woods ‘09 for N-Gage, with connections like this.

  1. It looks quite good from the demo, but I’ve got some games that I’ve not played finished yet, such as COTD which I bought during the First Access. (Have also formatted my phone 2 times since then, so got some playing to catch up on).

  2. Great game,
it as many modes and it’s not a finished in 5 minutes game
decent size game with a good replayability factor
