Several weeks after the timer hidden in the OpenAtOwnRisk.com site expired, we now have mysterious items showing up in Nokia Download! applications around the globe. If you recall, the story goes that long, long ago, hundreds of years ago, a bunch of royal families got together to create a clip. This clip was supposed to be the weirdest thing ever created, and it actually ended up too weird to show anyone, so it was locked up and hidden.
Today, mysterious entries have shown up in my N82′s Download! client, including The Application, The Ringtone, and The Wallpaper. One downloaded, these items require a special code to open. I’ve been trying to open The Application for a while now and can’t get the code figured out.
Perhaps you can? Refresh your Download! client to see if you can figure out what it is.
Update: I’m convinced there’s some 4-digit number hidden in the three ‘historical events’ mentioned in the original teaser: Edison’s lightbulb, the Wright Brothers’ plane, and Apollo 11. I’ve been trying numerous combinations with no luck. If anyone figures it out, please leave in the comments so I can sleep tonite!
Another Update: The OpenAtOwnRisk.com site has been refreshed and now offers a few different ways for you to use the applications from the Download! client to unlock the truly weird video.
