Triple Bill E71 Review
If the E71 is on your radar and you can’t wait for Ricky to follow his first impressions with the final review of the handset, then you might want to take a look at these three E71 reviews that have just surfaced on the web.
The first one is from Alfredo Padilla at WirelessInfo who, I have already mentioned, delivers very objective and comparative reviews. The E71 is looked at in details, and the final impression you take from the review is that Alfredo isn’t impressed by the new Nokia flagship business handset. The most important reason is the price since the handset is available unlocked from Nokia in the US but unsubsidized by the operators, while other business handsets can be found at under 100$. He does make a valid point and we wish AT&T picks it up, but if you live somewhere else where the E71 is offered by operators or if you always fancy unlocked handsets, then the argument is no longer valid.
The second review is a long enthusiastic almost poetic one written by Mitchell Oke over at Gear Diary. Mitchell is excited about the QWERTY, the connectivity options, the build quality and numerous other features that we won’t detail here. We will just say that he says he found his perfect phone and well, we can’t help but agree with him.
The third review comes to us courtesy of Andrew Leung from The Nokia Blog who looks at the E71 from a business user endpoint. He comes to the conclusion that it might not be perfect for immediate push email, but that it’s a nice hybrid handset that mixes the advantages of S60 with a business-like look, feel and usage.
Where do you stand from the E71? Do you think it’s too overpriced compared to its competition or are you as impressed by its features that money and prices aren’t a problem?

My review of Nokia E71
http://www.thegadgetfreak.net/2008/07/nokia-e71-in-india.html
mitchell oke was rather interesting. He badly needed a qwerty! So much so, that he went on to describe an e71 better than n 95 8gig.!!!
See i know my phone stuff pretty well. I know that e71 is a good phone. No doubt. But to claim that its better than a 95 or an 82 is like rewarding someone who flunks his exams. Those nokia e series guys will never learn to produce good stuff like their n series counterpart if we have reviewers like mr. Oke who heap mountains and mountains of praise to e71. I know ricky you are also going in for an e71 but will you really trade off your n 95 8gig for this stuff?
