Another good application I should try out.

Unfortunately datatraffic is quite expensive in my country when using the HSDPA / 3G. (Fortunately I do have an upper limit on the cost of daily free use)
That is also one of the reasons why I don't use the Nokia's Internet Radio much either.

I've listened to Last.FM and there's a lot of good music there.

    Thanks for the tip >_<
  • Yup it's awesome. Though it started crashing on startup for me the other day. Surprised Last.fm haven't released their own client for S60 like they are for the iPhone.
  • for the taskman, actually I use Jbak TaskMan, it's freeware and very powerfully amd totally configurable.
The official site is here: http://jbak.ru/index_en.php

Definitely another vote for JBak Taskman here -- it's not only free, but it's got a better interface than Handy Taskman (both tasks and apps on a single split-screen) and has heaps more functions too (including the ability to autostart/autokill applications).
  • I can't believe you call Handy Taskman the best app for S60! JBak Taskman set the standard with his freeware app from day one! It's the official task manager of Symbian-Freak.com, and we all know the guys at SF are a few steps ahead of the average user.

Don't waste money on Handy. JBak Taskman is free, superior, and the standard task manager for S60. The Handy Taskman developers should be embarrassed! And the Guru should be trying JBak now! Unless you have some endorsement deal with the long ago surpassed Handy... (just a joke, Ricky. We know you're impartial. ;) )

I have an incredibly difficult time using Scrobbler on my e71
It hardly ever loads any station, ever
Though its much better than the winmo version
I love it when it works, it just hardly ever does

I agree mobbler that mobbler 'could' be one of the greatest apps for s60 phones, if it worked consistantly!! I and a few of my friends who are running this app on nokia n800xpress music phones find that it can randomly just crash and return you to the phone menu with no explanation or apperent reason.

this seems to be completely random can happen as soon as you open the app or after youve been listening to music for a half hour or so. also it does sometimes decide that for no reason i am not allowed to listen to any stations, not that it cant connect to any but that im not allowed. being a user of lastfm on the computer for the past few years and more recently on my xbox and phone i think ive got a good idea about what im allowed to listen to. overall its a huge pity as i love lastfm, the way it works and having on a phone is amazing. if only it worked properly. fix this and youve got a complete 100% winner!
