Symbian Smartphone Show Open For Registration
For those of you who live in or around the London area, and have been pining for something cool to go to, I wanted to let you know that the Symbian Smartphone Show, which takes place October 21-22nd, is now open for registration. The event takes place in London, at Earls Court 2, and is free to attend. 2008 is the 10th year for the Smartphone Show, and they’re planning to have over 120 different exhibitors showcasing their applications, accessories, and anything else related to smartphones.
There will be keynote speeches will include Nigel Clifford, CEO of Symbian, Kai Oistamo, Executive VP of Devices at Nokia, and a few others. There’s also a new feature this year, the Mobile Devfest, which is designed for anyone who is either currently building mobile applications, or is interested in doing so, for the Symbian OS, of course.
As a media partner, Symbian-Guru will be providing coverage of the Symbian Smartphone Show this year, and we look forward to seeing the cool new stuff announced and showcased here. Again, if you’re in the area, registration is free, so you can sign up here to attend.
(Also, due to circumstances, we are not able to attend the Symbian Smartphone Show this year. If you’re going to be attending, and would like to do some guest coverage here on Symbian-Guru.com of the show, please email Ricky at Guru(at)Symbian-Guru.com and we’ll chat about it. Unfortunately, we’re not able to cover travel expenses (or else we’d be going ourselves!) but would like to have someone on the floor)

steve can cover it both for aas and symbian-guru!!;)
