Chat With The Beta Labs Team
I’m sure you know, but as beta junkies, we here at Symbian-Guru.com are huge fans of the Nokia Beta Labs, led by Tommi Vilkamo. As such, we’re pumped to let you know that the Nokia Beta Labs team is looking to implement a new and improved website and is looking to get opinions from you guys – those who actually use the site!
The team is hosting an IRC chat this Thursday, September 25th, at 5pm EEST. The team has smartly converted the time for you, estimating the times to be:
- 7a in San Francisco
- 10a in New York
- 730p in Delhi
- 12a (midnight) in Sydney
There are three easy options to join in:
1. If you’re familiar with IRC already, you can use IRC network: EFNet; server: efnet.xs4all.nl; channel: #nokiabetalabs
2. If you’re not, you can use Mibbit.com, and choose ‘Efnet.net’ from the server list. The channel is still #nokiabetalabs, and you will just create a new (unique) nickname
3. If you’re mobile, you can use mIRGGI.net to connect with the same settings as in option 1.
The Beta Labs team is hoping for a good showing to help them make a few key decisions around the new version of the site, so if you’ve available, you should definitely log on to share your opinion!
I’ve also added the chat to the Symbian-Guru Events Calendar, so you can easily get reminded!
