With the Evening with S60 event in New York City last week, it seems as though the events are coming full circle. We’ve just gotten word of the next Evening with S60, which will take place in London this coming October, immediately before the annual Smartphones Show!
If you’ve not been to an Evening with S60 event, and you live in the London area, I’d highly recommend it. It’s a complete geekfest, with dozens of people all there to talk about and play with the latest S60 devices. There’s usually plenty of eats and drinks, and quite a few Nokians and other industry leaders show up for good conversation. It’s free to attend, but you do need to RSVP, so they can have a good idea of how many people to expect.
Also, as mentioned this Evening with S60 is immediately before the annual Symbian Smartphones Show, and while I won’t be there, we will have an on-site reporter, Alan Buckley from S60life.com. He’s going to be in the area, and aside from covering the event for his own site, he’ll be doing a bit of coverage for us here at Symbian-Guru.com!
