Considering your bricked N82, I wonder if you will feel that this can be a suitable replacement for it (at least short term if battery woes are as others have described them).

    Wondering about the build quality.
I have a friend which bought himself this phone.

Upon receiving it he noticed that the keyboard of his phone was a bit “loose”, that is they weren’t properly put into their place.
He mentioned that he had to press the camera button and some other buttons on the right side “into place”

He had it for two months before he accidentally lost his phone on the ground. One of the keys from the keyboard fell out and he lost it. (The # key if anyone was wondering).

He’s going to get it fixed under guarantee the upcoming days.

From the description is seems to me that the phone is of quite low build quality. (But then again that can vary from handset to handset)

Bought one of these for my wife, she wanted the 5mp camera and xenon flash but wasn’t massively bothered about wlan or some of the higher end s60 features.

The build quality isn’t quite up there with my N82, but I wouldn’t say it’s bad.

The 6 series was originally meant to be the business edition offerings from Nokia. Can we talk about something in that context.
How different is it from the other 6 series?
The N82 vs. 6220 comparison (you knew it was coming)
Also can we not talk about the marketing aspect also of this phone… who are its target audience and how would they be perceiving this phone when compared to other offerings?

one of my friends own it and she absolutely adores it. I will not replace my n 82 for this but if i have to use an alternative for my n 82 for a few days, this is the one i will choose. Pretty nifty. Will choose it but only on a temporary basis!

The only thing for me stopping from being a high-end phone is the lack of WiFi, it’s inexplicable for nokia to do that. Wifi for me is one of the most used features on my phone, I have installed symsmb, mapped network drives on my phone, and now I’m able to copy paste my audio files from the pc to the phone without any need for cables, so I’ll still be able to go around watching tv, playing with the phone at the same time.
If it wasn’t for the lack of wifi, it would be better than most of the nseries line up.
