Nokia Pilots was announced a few months back, and from what I can gather, it’s essentially like a Beta Labs, only for hardware, which is really neat. It’s free to register, and you have to be chosen, which means just cause you register, doesn’t mean you’ll be picked. There’s a short survey that you’re asked to fill out after creating a profile, and this survey is used to place you in a consumer group, so that the Nokia Pilots team has an idea of which products you’d be interested in and which ones aren’t really targeted towards you.
You can read more FAQ about the program here, and somehow they have a Testimonials link, though considering registration was opened earlier this morning, I can’t see how they’d have any testimonials yet. I would imagine they’ve been using the program internally at Nokia for a while?
Either way, scoot on over and get signed up if you’re interested in giving direct feedback to Nokia that will definitely be taken into account on future devices and services.
