Announcing The Symbian-Guru Forum
It’s been several weeks’ coming, but we’re super-excited to officially announce the new Symbian-Guru Forum! We’ve spent countless hours preparing, and we really feel as though this will help grow the community here by making it easier for you to keep track of various conversations, and also enable you to chat about things that might not necessarily be posted on the front page.
You can get to the Symbian-Guru Forum through the link at the top of the page, and you’ll also see that every story is linked to the forum. Comments posted in the forum are automatically pulled to the front page, as well, so that it’s really easy to follow conversations, no matter where you start.
Currently, it’s also possible to comment on a post without registering to the forum. We did this to allow for better conversation, since we know some of you only comment once or twice a year. However, we’d love for you to be a registered member, and as we finish tweaking the forum over the next few weeks, we’ll be able to offer special privileges and discounts for registered members.
The forum is also completely mobilized, which is awesome. If you’re browsing Symbian-Guru.com on your phone (no special URL needed, just http://www.Symbian-Guru.com), the comments behave just like they do on the main site. There’s also a link to get straight to the forum, as well, if you’d rather see what other conversations are going on.
A big thanks to the select few readers who were given a sneak peak at this new community, and helped us find bugs and other things. Also, I want to extend a personal thanks to Brandon over at N95Users.com, as he is mainly responsible for the comment integration working so well.
You can click here to get to the new forum, and remember, keep it clean, folks. Pseudofinn, in addition to contributing reviews and news posts, will be the head moderator at Symbian-Guru Forum. If you’re interested in volunteering as a moderator, you can email him directly at Pseudofinn@Symbian-Guru.com to enter your application.

also the forum doesn't look all that great, it isn't user friendly, the guru icon on every subforum takes so much space and makes the forum page larger.
on the positive side making it mobile is nice
Oh and welcome one and all to what will grow to become a great forum for symbian fans and supporters.

Wow, he lacks a functional brain certainly.
We've launched this forum to help facilitate the amount of discussion already happening at Symbian-Guru in the post comments. It really is a good bit of conversation going on, deserving of its own vehicle. So we just felt it was the next logical step for the S-G community to offer a forum where discussion can take place on another level. The idea is not to detract from any of the communities out there already that we're all part of; in a sense, we're not starting anything new here, just evolving.
I appreciate the criticism regarding the site's look and feel- I can assure you that we'll be going through the *many* visual and operational changes that every good forum goes though before we get it right. We need to know what you don't like more than what you do like for that to happen. :-)
After all, this forum is all about you guys anyway- what this places ends up looking like, how easy it is to use and how well it helps the conversation is all up to you. We need to know what you honestly think so we can make it better.
Thank you all for the words of encouragement.

@Ravindra- Thank you for the kind words as well. We're really chuffed that most everyone is so enthusiastic and positive about the creation of a forum here. It makes it so much more worth all the work we've gone through these past couple weeks getting everything ready for everyone here.
Thanks all, so much.
Thanx pseudofinn for your help, i sent an email to you regarding registeration problems..Thanx once again & CheeRS!
