Flixwagon has just added support for uploading to Share on Ovi through its site, adding yet another option for you to quickly and effortlessly upload video to your Share on Ovi channels directly from your handset. I’ve used Flixwagon before, to video my wedding, and it works pretty good. They’ve released several updates lately, and currently allow you to upload videos straight to your YouTube account, as well as the recently added Share on Ovi integration.
To use Flixwagon, you simply need to create a free account, and download the client to your phone. You’ll also obviously need a Share on Ovi account, which is also free. To connect the two, simply login to Flixwagon from your desktop computer and click on ‘Settings’ in the top right corner of the screen. At the bottom of the drop-down list is ‘Share on Ovi’, and that’s where you’ll need to sign-in and choose your default uploading channel.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as though you’re able to change the channel on-the-go, but I’m sure that feature will be added soon. This is handy, especially if you have 3G connectivity on your phone, as you can record a video live, and then have it immediately uploaded to your Share on Ovi account. We’re big fans, if you’re looking for a way to quickly and easily get your video content uploaded.
It should be noted that, while ultimately we’re rather disappointed in Share Online, you can also use that application to upload videos to your Share on Ovi account. If you use Share Online, you *are* able to choose, from your phone, which channel your video gets uploaded to, which can be convenient when you’re out and about.
Cruise on over to the Flixwagon site to get signed up, if you’re interested. You can also get the app straight to your phone by heading to http://m.Flixwagon.com/Nokia.
