Mobbler Updated To Look Prettier

My favorite music application, Mobbler, has been updated all the way to v0.3.0, bringing a new and improved look, as well as the fantastic ability to check for future updates from directly within the app itself. This is a feature that I really wish more developers would take advantage of, for allowing users the ability to get updates without having to hunt through the internet all the time.

Mobbler is a free application that ties into your Last.FM account (also free) to stream internet radio to your S60-powered smartphone. It works great with the N96 and the E71, and even allows you to use the volume up/down keys on your phone to control how loud things get. It’s really brilliant.

  4. Nice, I had this on the N96 that I just got replaced and it worked a bit better than I remember over EDGE. The refined GUI defintely helps too.

    Time to add this to my N95.

  5. Too true @arjw. An auto update feature through the app manager would be brilliant- and just makes sense. Even just an option to select "Check for updates" would be a great start. I have no idea how easy/difficult it would be to make this work- but I agree that it's about time it happens, and I would love to see a feature like this.   by PseudoFinn
  6. I received an loaner E71, it did not bring memory card and of course I am not buying one because is not mine. But to solve the music problem I installed Mobbler which ROCKS! because I can know other artist and songs of the type of music I like.

  8. Mobbler doesn't seem to work on the 5800 XpressMusic yet. I have left a note on its Google Code page and hopefully the developer has the time to fix it soon.   by Unregistered
