So you’ve met NinjaDotsisx, right? You saw her happy and excited with her new outfit (the video is now fixed so those of you who didn’t watch it earlier can now do so), you discovered the fierce competitors she’s facing, and you found out that the prize she’s trying to win is eventually yours to grab: 5 N96 devices for trials. Try them, use them, see if you like them, brag about them in front of your friends, or whatever. NinjaDotsisx is determined to make it her goal in the following 4 weeks to do the best she can for you, our readers, and we sincerely thank her for that. So we asked if we could tag along yesterday and follow her during a “normal” Sunday. Y’know, we were innocent enough to think we’d chill out with NinjaDotsisx. And boy were we wrong! There’s no “normal Sunday” in NinjaDotsisx’ vocabulary, especially when she’s doing her best to finish the first task from the Challenges.
We were glad we had brought the N96 with us to capture the odd moments she put us through, because honestly, if we came back and told you that she could stand still in the midst of thin air, would you have believed us? No. We thought so. So we brought proofs, captured with the 5MP goodness of the N96, and we’re still doubtful you’ll believe us, even with these photos.
Creeping Up On You
Even when we tried to follow NinjaDotsisx closely, there were moments she simply disappeared. We’d look for her and she’d come sneaking on us, appearing out of nowhere. She scared the hell out of us. But she’s a funny Ninja at heart, and when seeing us jump out terrified, she’d start laughing and say that we’re not ninja-worthy photographers, she should’ve contacted Britney Spears’ papparazzi. “At least they don’t let her get out of sight even for a millisecond!” she’d state, highly amused by our discomposed figure.
Martial Arts In The Trees
When NinjaDotsisx told us she was looking for a decent place to practice her martial art moves, we thought it relevant to point out a patch of green grass. She laughed her heart out at us, and kept moving until she found a bunch of trees. Off she went inside, climbed (or was it jumped?), and went on for half an hour making her daily routine of moves. “Why inside the trees?” we asked when she finished, she replied that that’s how you learn to make your moves in a small space, while avoiding all obstacles, and with the least possible equilibrium. Great strategy, shall we add, and it’s turning out for the best!
A Sense Of Hospitality
When, in the midst of the day, we told NinjaDotsisx we were getting a bit hungry, she said she’ll get us some spaghettis. Cool! So she took us running between the trees until she reached the highway, jumped on a billboard, and stood still in front of it like she’s holding the spaghetti platter. “Very funny” we told her. At the puzzled look we had, she started laughing and said that “the joy is in taking the journey, not in reaching the goal”. A cliché’d Ninja, indeed, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t still starving to death.
Batman-Who?!
At some point, we told NinjaDotsisx that her side pictures made her look a bit like Batman. She seemed shocked and asked “Who?”. Then we realized that we know about Batman since we idolize him, but for NinjaDotsisx, Batman is so ordinary, he’s like the next door neighbor whom you never bother to meet or talk to. So we told her he could fly by spreading his wings and she shook her head in disbelief: “he’s famous just for THAT?!”. We were about to mention the Batmobile, the ultimate geek car in the whole world, when she surprised us by a bat’move of her own.
The Art Of Standing Still In Thin Air
NinjaDotsisx told us that she could stand still in the middle of the air. Of course, after having seen her fly like Batman, we really weren’t going to argue with her. Still, she said that it’s part of “daily routine” and did it in front of us. We were speechless. Honestly Seeing is believing. Some of our skeptic readers will say that we took the picture with the N96 in “Sports Mode” while NinjaDotsisx jumped, and to those we say “you should’ve been there, she really stood still”.
The NokiaVine Obstacle
We left NinjaDotsisx fiddling with her weapon, the N96, and screaming her heart out that NokiaVine wouldn’t upload: “I climbed a billboard, I jumped higher than I ever had, I defeated every obstacle it’s humanely possible to defeat for a girl, and now THIS?! This tiny piece of plastic and stupid slow software is stopping ME from achieving my task?!”. She eventually gave up on the thought of figuring it out by herself and contacted her base to solve the problem. That’s when we caught her, sitting exhausted, cursing the Gods of Vines, WiFis, Uploads, Phones and anything else that has to do with those.
