Just in case you’re still interested in the Nokia N96, we’ve gotten word from Darla Mack that the Nokia N96 NAM (that’s packing dual-band UMTS (850/1900MHz) support for AT&T’s 3G network) is now available in limited quantities at both of the Nokia Flagship stores here in the U.S. Pricing is set at a staunch US$842 plus tax, which is quite a nice chunk of change for what I lovingly refer to as ‘widebody’.
Also, Best Buy has apparently begun displaying the Nokia N96 NAM, priced a bit cheaper at $799.99 before tax. The NAM version of this massive smartphone packs the aforementioned US 3G support, but also comes with the Nokia BL-5F 950mAh battery. It *does* include the kickstand, too, which is a bit of a relief.
For those looking to save even more, and willing to wait, Amazon.com is listing a pre-order for the U.S. version with warranty for $705.99, a savings of nearly $100.
In any case, if you’re interested, now you know where to get it. Enjoy.
