Nokia World 2008: Barcelona

Nokia World 2008: Barcelona

The massive Nokia World expo is coming up again in early December. Last year over 2,700 delegates gathered in Amsterdam for Nokia World 2007 and made it one of the most premier global conferences for the mobility and internet industries. Your own mobile guru, Ricky Cadden, was present last year and threw down on some slick live blogging. To get an idea as to what goes on at this mega-event you can read Ricky’s thoughts from last year as he reflected on Nokia World 2007.

“Nokia World will offer you a dynamic experience, a space where real stories and original thinking are shared, an environment where collaboration leads to innovation, a place where likeminded people bond, partnerships and even friendships are forged, a destination where people connect and join conversations that help define and drive the future of our industry. Nokia World offers an unforgettable journey where people can connect in new and better ways. Join us in exploring, shaping and defining our industry.”

For operators, developers, retailers, IT specialists, content owners, investors, journalists and other other interested parties, the event really is unique opportunity to share the view from the very top of the mobility business of both today and in the near future.

This year the event will be held in Barcelona, the site of the Mobile World Congress which I attended earlier this year, on December 2nd and 3rd. There’s still a bit of time to go before the event, and we’re sure to have further coverage of the event- so keep your eyes on this site!
