Samsung Innov8 In 127000 Words

127000 words? Yes, at least if it’s true what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words. In any case, if you’ve been eying Samsung’s 8MP-camera-16GB-memory-FP2 beast, then you might want to take a look at a photo gallery I just found on the internetz. The site is in Slovakian, but don’t worry, you’ll find your way around, given that pictures carry an international language and that page numbers are the same in all languages.

This Innov8 gallery boosts a couple of dozen pictures of the handset itself, taken from every possible and imaginable angle, as well as tons of screenshots from the menu, that should show you exactly every small feature of Samsung’s latest beast.

My thoughts? This looks STURDY. Sigh. If only Nokia could take a few hints from Samsung’s designs and make an Nseries slider handset that really feels solid in the hand. I can’t figure out why they can’t have the person who designed the E66’s slider mechanism work on an Nseries! Another thought is that I’ve been told that the Innov8 will retail at around 1200$ in Lebanon when it’s launched. That is too much, just too friggin much! I’ll be waiting for whatever Nseries flagship touchscreen handset Nokia will unleash next, hoping that it’s not a slider (and if it is, hoping that it’s decently built), and wishing for a much much more affordable price tag.

  1. I have also been eyeing the Innov8 – I am tempted!

It is available here in Denmark at around 900$, SIM free. That is of course less than 1200$, but a still a little more than I was planning to spend on my next handset.

  2. In Iraq its for 850$ in the expensive shops…but again its not easy to find it in the crap hidden shops but if u r lucky and find one then u will save 50$..even 800$ is too much for Innov and its price should 50$-100$ more than N95 8gb.

  3. Latest price in Leb is $1000

  4. I would suspect that, if you can bare the wait, when the Nokia 8mp response comes out (probably want be before 2Q next year in terms of retailing) the price would drop to a more reasonable level. Unless, of course, Nokia too will ask comparable price for a comparable device.

  5. [...] a hundred screenshots, then just head over to the 5320 XpressMusic gallery on Fony.sk, my Slovakian newly-found website gem for device photos and screenshots. They have 134 images just for the 5320 [...]
