We reviewed the LG KT610 a few months ago here at Symbian-Guru, but it’s always good to see someone else’s perspective. In this case, Steve Litchfield over at AllAboutSymbian has gotten his hands on the KT610 and put it through its paces, looking the little phone over at all points.
Overall, it looks like Steve came to roughly the same conclusions we did – it’s a great effort, and with a few tweaks here and there, LG could have a real winner on their hands. It certainly won’t compete with the Nokia E90, but then again, it’s obviously not supposed to, either.
You can pick up an unlocked LG KT610 on Ebay for around US$300, which isn’t really a bad price. If you’re in the U.S., though, be warned, there’s no GSM 850MHz support, so even if you’re on T-Mobile, you can expect to have limited coverage.
