LonelyCatGames Updates SlickIM and X-Plore
One of my favorite applications is LonelyCatGames’ SlickIM. It’s a free multi-protocol instant messaging application that runs great on nearly any phone. It supports MSN, Gtalk, AIM, Yahoo!, and even Jabber (which allows me to connect to Nokia Chat), and it’s rather lightweight and gives me alerts no matter what I’m doing on my phone. When I logged in yesterday, I saw that there was a new version available, v0.44! LonelyCatGames is one of those great developers who have smartly included a feature to automatically check for new updates to their applications, and I wish all developers would include that.
SlickIM v0.44 brings native theme support, so that you’re not stuck with LonelyCatGames’ boring color schemes, and also a few bugfixes. Unfortunately, I’m still having issues connecting to MSN through the application, and according to their user forum, so are many others. Regardless, you’ll definitely want to get the new update, and hopefully they’ll fix the MSN issue soon.
Also, while I was on their site, I saw that X-Plore has been updated, as well. X-Plore is LonelyCatGames’ file explorer, with plenty of extra options if you need a robust way to manage the files on your phone. The new version also supports native themes, so that the application doesn’t force you to use the questionable default color schemes. X-Plore is freeware, but has a nag screen that you need to pay to get rid of.

I was hoping that they would have the option to use the phones theme in their applications and finally they did it.
Seems as you still have the option to choose the application theme still, which in my opinion is great to have.
Seems like it's not just those two applications that've been updated.
They've updated the profimail application as well.
It's not officially out but available as a download from their forums in a beta 2 version.
They've already are up on version 2.94 beta 2 on the profimail application.
Improvements from 2..91 to 2.93 includes IMAP*IDLE mode.
The version 2.94 Beta 2has the same theme support as the new X-plore and SlickIM applications.
