Nokia’s USA website is now taking pre-orders for both the N79 and the N85. The N79 is priced at US$492.70, and no planned shipping date is available. Also, if you click to see the technical specs, the Nokia USA site oddly shows that it will be tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz), which we know is incorrect. I’ve sent an email to a friend at Nokia to double-check this, though, just in case.

The Nokia N85 is listed at US$588.90, and also shows to be tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) though we know from the official announcement that the N85 will indeed be tri-band UMTS. There is no date listed for the N85’s expected shipping date, either.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for the NAM version of either of these models to hit Ebay or Amazon or other retail outlets, for sure. In the meantime, if you want to be on the list to have one of the first ones available, click on over to the Nokia USA pre-order site to sign yourself up.
