Nokia ViNe Finally Launches
After much hooing and hawing Nokia has finally publicly launched its Nokia viNe service. The new service was announced several months ago, at the same time as the Nokia N79 and N85 smartphones, but is only just available for download today.
Nokia viNe is basically a prettier version of Nokia’s Sportstracker service, and uses your phone’s built-in GPS receiver to track where you go, what photos you take, and what music you’re listening to. This “vine” is then uploaded to the Nokia viNe site, so you can easily share with others.
You can head over to the official site to register and download the application. At this time. the only phones that are officially supported are the E71, N78, N79, N82, N85, N95 8GB, and N96. What’s oddly missing from that stack? Yeah, the N95 and the E66, both of which are exactly the same (inside) as another device on the roster. Silliness? We agree.
In any case, cruise over, sign up, and let us know what you think.

this is one of the biggest achievements of Nokia! it looks slick and it is simple!
so excited... installed to N95-3 choosing N95 8GB, seems to work...
Also, on the N85, the app says it is not compatible with the phone !!??
and then of course there is Friend View

How many of these services does nokia need
What I didn't know was that viNe and sportstracker are using the same data. I created a record on viNe and it showed up on sportstracker as well.
