Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays! As you’re no doubt finishing up (or like me, just starting) your holiday shopping, what’s better than saving a few bucks here and there, right? Well, we’ve caught wind of a few sales that might pique your interest, and I wanted to highlight them here at Symbian-Guru, to help you get the most from your shopping funds.
First up, Jason over at TechCraver brings us news of a big sale at the 2 U.S. Nokia Flagship stores, with 30% off most handsets, as well as 20% off the N79 and N85 NAMs (not sure why those get different discounts, either). Accessories will also be marked down, including the Nokia BH-604, which we’ve reviewed before, on sale for $99, with a normal price of $189! There’s also a report that the Flagship stores here in the U.S. will be accepting phone orders, if you’re not currently located in either Chicago or New York, which is a new offer from them. Unfortunately for our overseas readers, I’ve confirmed that this sale is only being held at the U.S. Flagship stores.
We’ve also gotten word from our friends at QuickOffice that v5.0 of this ultimate office productivity application is on sale for a whopping 30% off! The discount is available through the Symbian-Guru store by clicking here, as well. The big news around this, though, is that anyone who purchases v5.0 will get a *FREE* update to v6.0 when it comes available in early 2009! Version 5.0 of QuickOffice already supports Microsoft Office 2007 files, and I’m sure version 6.0 will improve this support with even more features when it comes available.
