What a rocking week, and to end it all, I’m pumped to announce that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has just jammed its way through the FCC’s testing procedures, complete with dual-band UMTS (850/1900MHz) support for AT&T’s high-speed 3G network, here in the United States. It was only last week that the two Nokia Flagship stores began selling the European version of this landmark cell phone, and now it’s only a matter of time before the NAM unit begins shipping, as well.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the first touchscreen S60-powered cell phone to hit the market, packing a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera. I’ve been using the 5800 XpressMusic for the past week or so, and will have some initial thoughts on this cell phone ready soon.
