We reviewed PhoneWallet from SymbianGuru previously, but now our friends at SBSH, known for their Calendar application (formerly known as Papyrus) have released their own wallet application. SBSH SafeWallet features a PC client to allow you to easily enter, manage, backup, and then sync your pertinent information on your phone.
The PC client, which unfortunately requires a Windows-based computer, allows you to easily enter in your credit card, bank account, or other personal information with your keyboard and mouse, and then synchronizes simply with the S60 client. Both applications use 256-bit AES encryption, as well as other techniques used by the U.S. government to ensure that your data is safe and secure.
Once you’ve installed the phone application, you’re asked to setup a password, which is required anytime you need to access the application. Similar to other applications, your data is organized in a folder-type heirarchy, which you can customize however you’d like. You can also designate different cards and information as ‘Favorites’, which allows you to maintain their original folder position, but also access them easily through the Favorites folder.
You can purchase SBSH SafeWallet through the Symbian-Guru Software Store, though we’ve also got 3 free licenses to give away! To enter, simply leave a comment on this thread listing out a piece of information that you would *never* store in an application like this. Make sure to register to the Symbian-Guru Forums, as well, so that we have a way to contact you, if you’re chosen.
