My favorite streaming music application, Mobbler, has now been updated to v0.3.3, adding support for the S60 equalizer (the one found in the music player), as well as the ability to pause the music, rather than stopping it. The new version also features a few fixes by Steve Punter, who recently joined the Mobbler team after posting a custom version with his own fixes on HowardForums.
Steve’s fixes reduce the amount of stuttering when multitasking, and have also enabled more buffering options. You can check out his MOD5 version at HowardForums, though I’m sure we’ll see most of those fixes added to the offiical release eventually.
While the application does feature an integrated option to check for updates, it’s confirmed that this doesn’t work on the N96 or the 5800, for some reason. However, I was able to easily navigate to the website (found here) to download the update directly to my phone.
