Here’s an interesting tidbit to kickstart the weekend: we’ve caught a glimpse of the 5710 XpressMusic, an unannounced update to the 5700 XpressMusic, which you’ll recall has the swiveling bottom portion to swap between a numeric keypad and dedicated music playback keys. There has not been any official confirmation, though the image on Nokia USA’s website shows a black phone with blue accents.
The 5700 XpressMusic has been rumored to be getting an update since October 2007, so it’s definitely pretty overdue. The rumors back then claimed that the new model would sport a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, as well as a slight visual makeover. We’ve shot an email to our Nokia contacts to see if we can get any more clarification, and we’ll update this post if we get anything.
