Nokia N78 Gets Firmware Update

The Nokia N78 was recently updated to v20.149.051.1, with several key enhancements. DailyMobile.se has the full changelog, if you’re interested, but the stand out features include an updated version of Nokia Maps and a general increase in the speed of the UI, including transitions between screens.

The N78 should have UDP (User Data Preservation), though it’s still a good idea to backup any critical data before applying the update. This one should be available OTA by pressing *#0000# from your standby screen, though it’s also likely available through NSU, if you feel better about that.

    Symbian Sucks real bad! I have a n78 and its on version 21.002 (the last one) and it is just buggy as hell! its annoying! Get an iPhone! they care about quality of their firmware! this is just bullshit! i really hope they've fixed some of the bugs for the n97! otherwise itll be a fail!
