AllAboutSymbian got the scoop on a new firmware update for the Nokia N82, bringing it up to par with v31.0.016. Apparently, this update adds UDP (User Data Preservation), though you’ll still want to make sure you’ve backed up any critical information before you apply the update. Other details on what’s changed are slim, though Steve is reporting major stability issues with Nokia Maps, so you may want to hold off until we know what’s going on with this one.
If you decide to brave it anyways, you can use Nokia’s Software Update to get the new firmware, and be sure to chime in with any changes you might notice. And yes, the N95-3 and N95-4 are still wallowing with firmware v20.x.xxx.
