One thing that we know about Nokia is that they like to give stuff away, and they like to use minisites to do so. At any given moment, there are likely a handful of such minisites put out by Nokia, ready to take some sort of information from you, in return for a chance to win something. To help increase your odds of winning, we’ve gathered a few of them here in one post, so get your middle-clicker ready and get after it!
First up, thanks to NokiaUsers.net, is a chance for you to win a whole ski trip with a few of your friends, courtesy of the Finnish beast. It’s crazy how easy this one is – you visit the site, give them your mobile number, and then you receive an SMS with a PIN number – enter that PIN on the site and boom – you’re entered to win. Unfortunately, this one is only available if you live in the U.K.
Next up, three separate N-Gage minisites, all three offering you a chance to win the Nokia N96, along with miscellaneous other swag. First up is Metal Gear Solid. You can enter here, with the prize being the N96, some posters, and a soundtrack CD from the game. If you explore the site a bit more, there is also a theme you can download for your phone.
Next up is Resident Evil. In this contest, you’ll need to answer a few trivia questions about the game, though there are some pretty obvious hints available, as well. Again, the prize here is an N96, although this one is airbrushed with a custom Resident Evil graphic. There is also a custom theme available on this minisite, and I have to say, I’m glad to see Nokia stepping it up with these themes.
Last is the Asphalt 4 contest. Here, you’re only entering to win the N96, with no extras. Entry is as simple as filling out a form, though, and again, there’s some fun extras to download if you explore the site a little bit.
Did I miss any other contests that are out there? If so, please leave a comment, letting us know where, and what the prize is. Because who doesn’t like free stuff?
Also, while this isn’t a contest in that you can’t win anything, there’s a rather fun little feature on the One minisite, where you can create a video of the boss El Aguila after one of your friends. While somewhat silly, it’s still freakin hilarious. Here’s a sample:
