A few days ago, Ricky brought you a very detailed preview of Gravity, the new Twitter S60 client. Gravity is still in closed beta, but I’ve also been invited to the test and I’ve been using it continuously for the past week. My first impression was that this application is sleek, too sleek, and that I can only wish other applications would load, scroll, work as good as Gravity.
Gravity has also been updated yesterday at night, to bring even more options. We can now send a Direct Message to another member by simply clicking options on one of their tweets, we can also add several Search items. Search results can be re-tweeted, replied to, changed, removed, and they also auto-update just like the main Twitter accounts. Clearly, the amount of thought going behind Gravity is phenomenal, and I can only begin to describe how much I love this application. It’s always running in the background on my E71, and has now become the first application I check when I pick E71 from standby, dethroning the Gmail application. Given how much I use Gmail, that is saying a LOT.
Here is another video demonstration of Gravity, courtesy of yours truly, that shows the new added options as well as the polished interface and scrolling.
