We’re not quite sure what to think about this Text Art app from Nokia, honestly. If you haven’t seen it yet, the E71 Text Art App basically lets you input a string of text and it then outputs a graphical form of that, with bright colors and whatnot. You can then either use that as a wallpaper for your phone, or send it along to a friend in the form of an email or MMS. Sure, in most countries an SMS is cheaper, but who cares? This is so pretty.
You can download the app from the E71′s website here. There’s also a feature on the site that allows you to create a desktop background in the same way. Kinda cool, I suppose. The app is only promised to work on the Nokia E71 and E63, but it’s java, so that limitation seems like an annoying artificial one to us. It’s free, so you might as well give it a go.
