We’ve just received word from our friends at MobiHand, who take care of the Symbian-Guru Software Store for us, that the store will be down from tomorrow, Friday, March 20, until Saturday, March 21. While we know this is rather annoying, it’s definitely worth it. The upgrades will make the store faster (we know many of you have been frustrated with this in the past), and will also make the back-end easier for Dotsisx and I to use, which is definitely a plus.
The store should be fully back in action by Sunday. Thanks in advance for your patience while we try to make it a better experience for you guys, and thanks for shopping there. We’ve seen more and more readers purchasing applications through the Symbian-Guru Software Store, and that’s awesome, as it helps us to get more applications to review, and also to pay for things like hosting and whatnot.
**Update** Sorry for the miscommunication, the downtime was only for our backend system, and shouldn’t have affected the front-end store that you guys see.
